The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Applied Materials in Mar 2024
Interview
I went through three rounds of interviews, which were all very pleasant. The first screening interview I had was really chill and lasted about 20 minutes, where we very casually talked about the mission of the company and the position I was applying for. Then I was advanced to the next two rounds of interviews, one being technical-based and the other being "fit"-based. The two interviews were originally scheduled for the same day, an hour apart. I first went through the "fit-based" interview, which was an hour long and included several thorough questions regarding how I would handle difficult situations in a group setting, some of the most challenging problems I've faced, and how I went about solving them.
