Interview
HR got in touch and asked to fill out a form to schedule the 1st interview. Despite my best effort to reach out after an prolonged period of time has passed after I promptly filled the form, they ghosted me and I never received a reply. Received a generic auto generated rejection after a few weeks with no other followups. The job requisition also vanished on their website, and it still says "in progress" on my career portal, clearly something is broken here but I have no alternatives to reach out. Very unprofessional behavior from their HR, unfortunately this is not uncommon for a gigantic company like this. I came to post this only to find out my experience is very similar to what happened to many others before. I hope the management can realize this and fix their hiring process,
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Very easy, SQL and BFS Question, was nervous but ended up working there, Not sure if I would go back full time. The work culture is intense and seems like a battlezone at times.
