I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Applied Materials in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was good, but the interviewer plainly put it to me that the company puts the work before family, and all family and personal issues are secondary. Got a negative vibe of the company during interview process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Kalispell, MT) in Nov 2016
Interview
Pretty quick accommodating and straight forward. No trick questions, heavily involved in prior work experience. Round 1 was with HR screening, round 2 on phone with site controller and another later with group controller. Round 3 was onsite with controller and team members.

They asked questions about my interests and experiences with analytics. Nothing too specific - mostly behavioral questions.
