The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Sunnyvale, CA) in May 2019
Interview
Interviewed onsite and was basically told at every interview that it was a grueling place to work and I had better know what I am getting in to. Basically consisted of a series of lectures/warnings peppered with a few random technical questions to make it look like they actually were interested in interviewing me. I had another competitive offer so it was a no brainer to turn down this offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Applied Materials
Interview
It's smooth and quick to give feedback. Everybody is nice. The whole interview process includes one technical test, two video chats and then went to the company physically to conduct the on-site interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials in May 2019
Interview
Only one on site interview and it was all technical based on projects and previous courses I had completed. Most were heat transfer and mechanics of materials related. It was not that difficult.
