Applied Materials interview questions

in the first interview they asked me about an image with gaussian noise with large variance. they asked how can we make some segmentation. a recommendation for you: go over the basics such as how to calculate variance, what is the variance of two iid variables, how to handle gaussian noise, how to find edges etc in the second interview i felt that the interviewer come up with questions according to my background.
