I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2013
Interview
Series of 1 on 1 interviews that focused on project management and past experience. This was accompanied by a plant tour and informational interviews with other technical staff. Interviews consisted of time with other current project managers, technicians, and the director of the pilot ops facility. There was a focus on the willingness to accomplish the delivery date no matter what. It was clear that schedule was paramount. Folks were friendly and helpful. It seemed that they were just beginning to build up this capability in Santa Clara.
