Interview
HR recruiter contacted me about a phone screen which we scheduled for the following week. She canceled on half-hour notice but invited me to move forward to a video interview with a team member anyway. She sent me instructions on how to set up my webcam and use start the video call and it was scheduled for a week and a half later.
The "video" interview started 15 minutes late, the interviewer did not have video and began by saying "Hi, I was just getting ready to head out for the day". I took it in stride but she seemed completely uninterested in my answers and eager to just wrap things up. Over the next few weeks I sent a pair of follow up emails asking for updates but never received a response. Meanwhile, their jobvite site showed me "in progress" during that time. Finally, four weeks after my interview I received an automated email asking for my feedback on the interview process and logged in again to find I had not been selected.
Overall I would say this was not a well-managed process.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this candid feedback. We take your feedback very seriously as we strive to provide an excellent experience for all those that interview with our team. I'll be sure to follow up internally to uncover how we can provide a better experience to our candidates. If you'd like to discuss your feedback further, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly.
