      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Andela (Austin, TX) in Jan 2019

      Interview

The interview process was smooth and seamless. I was contacted by Kaleigh, a senior recruiter at Andela, after she went through my LinkedIn profile. She is the sweetest person you can ever come across. She was always on top of everything. At first, I had a 15 minutes phone call with her to understand the job position they were hiring for, and if I was interested for that position. After the phone call, I had to do an assignment which was pretty easy. It was one of the major components of the interview process. Then, if they think you aced the assignment you go through an online video interview with three different people, sales managers and a director. The questions were pretty standard. However, do some research on what Andela stands for, meaning, what work they do and overall company's motto. As long as you are confident, cheerful and concise with your answers you will do good. A big shout out to Kaleigh for being a friend/recruiter during this whole journey. She will answer all your questions, walk you through each and every steps and motivate you throughout the interview process.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Andela (Austin, TX) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Pretty straightforward and reminded me of the process at Hubspot: Applied online and heard back from the central liaison to schedule a brief call. Typical phone screening - discussed my experience, the company, and the role. Next stage was then given a research assignment/mock script to create and submit. Next stage were two 30 min video conference interviews with hiring managers (one in NY, one local). Next stage was another video conference interview with the director of sales. Final stage was another interview (this time on-site) with the local hiring manager. All in all they want to know you (personally and professionally), how you match with the position, and why you think you'll be successful.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Andela (New York, NY) in Sep 2016

      Interview

My interview process with Andela was nothing but positive, and I didn't even get a job offer. They were so personable every step of the way, and it became easy to see how kind and hard-working the Andela team is to an outsider looking in. Although I was not offered the position in the end, I chose to write a positive review because of the respect they showed me. So many companies will send you generic rejection emails or won't even email you back at all when informing a candidate he or she didn't get the position, but Andela took the time to write my a personal email saying why they made the decision they did. Wishing you guys the best!
