American Red Cross interview questions

Phone interview was fast, I think checking how I presented myself. Interview was set up for following week. Interview was with two people. I thought it went very well and was surprised that I did not make it to the second round of interviews. Pretty general questions, How do you see this position. what would you need from us to be successful, why should we hire you?

Mulitiple phone calls with the hiring manager and the manager's peer in another state. After interview had more follow up phone calls before the offer. I think the hiring manager was just unsure of how to assess my skill sets and needed multiple people to approve my hire. Wasn't an impressive process and had me thinking it was a case of analysis paralysis.
