I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Red Cross
Interview
Applied, email from recruiter saying I wasn't selected, email from recruiter saying I was selected, questionnaire, interview with two managers, offer, background check and drug test.
After receiving the offer no one wanted to answer my questions. I wanted a letter stating my employment. I knew I didn't have anything to hide in the background check and drug test but kept getting told that my employment was dependent on them.
Showed up for my first day and no one was there to great me. Sat and watched a teleconference of orientation. No one was there when I showed up each day or when I left. No one checked in on me. One day my supervisor was suppose to have lunch with me and they snarled up their nose and said go get your own lunch.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I was asked very detailed questions about my interest in the job, availability, transportation and other obligations. She assessed on the spot that I was a match and continued to give me a brief overview of the job expectations, tour and daily duties. She was very informative, so I felt confident to start the next day. Later on, however, I realized that the info was indeed very brief and I was missing some vital directions to successfully work through the day. Thankfully she was available for follow up questions by phone - although I hated to do so.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Pomona, CA) in May 2012
