This was one of the most chaotic and misleading hiring processes I have ever experienced. It began with a recruiter screen for a Cloud Services Manager position, followed by an interview with the hiring manager at the VP level. The next round was with an unknown executive, who informed me that they were not hiring a Cloud Manager but instead looking for an Infrastructure Director. This was especially confusing because I had already interviewed for a Director of Cloud role back in December 2024, which they never filled.
Eventually, I received a verbal offer through the recruiter for a role titled Lead Cloud Engineer, a title change that came without any explanation. Before sending a written offer, they insisted on a "meet and greet" with the team, which turned out to be another formal interview with two individuals who believed I was applying for a Director role. After weeks of silence throughout the process, I was informed through the recruiter that they had again changed the role, this time to an Engineer level, and decided not to move forward. At no point did anyone from the company reach out directly to explain or acknowledge the constant shifts or offer an apology.
The experience revealed a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for candidates. Their internal communication is broken, and the entire process felt like a bait and switch with zero ownership or clarity. Proceed with caution.
