I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at American Campus Communities (Portland, OR) in Jun 2016
Interview
I was sent an email because I lived in the building, they said they were looking for Community Assistants and that people should apply online if that sounded interesting. So, it did, and I applied. I had to wait, then got accepted for a video interview. Its awkward recording yourself answering questions, but it went well. They then asked me to come in for a interveiw with 3 managers. This was much better, the managers were all very nice.

Typically a group interview process followed by an individual interview depending on the amount of applicants and if/when you get through the group stage. Group interview will typically be an activity created by the property management, and the individual interview will be a standard Q&A interview
