Amdocs Software Engineer interview questions

JOB ROLES: They took test on their own platform. Test is quite tough i would say. Based on the performance in test, they will classify ur job roles. 1. Developer 2. (Forgot) 3. (forgot) 4. Testor I was classified in Developer so, i will share respective experience. TIP FOR CLEARING EXAM : actually i joined some channel in telegram. There i got to know that, amdocs is recruiting offcampus also for 2019batch. Iam from 2020 batch. So i registered offcampus as well as oncampus. In their offcampus recruitment, they r asking us to give test online. It was proctored test(but who cares. Its just offcampus test). I took SS of all questions, googled answers and saved it. I repeat this process by registering with different accounts each time , and after some 3-4 iteration, i have all the quesn set of amdocs. So am ready to rock my oncampus test. To my surprise,same quesn got repeated in oncampus test. And i got shortlisted for developer role ;) INTERVIEW PHASE: Its was simple only. Just usual quesn they were asking like joins, string sort progrm, fibo prgm, sql queries. BUT, I don't know either its true or not, they r rejecting people after they r making ONE mistake count. My Mistake : the interviewer asked me diff between delete and truncate. I know only ine difference. I told him . But he kept asking more and more difference. I told him several times politly, but he was nut i think so. My Friends mistake : The interviewer asked him " to sort arr of words" . He wasn't able to answer it. Thats it. After this first quesn itself, they rejected him. No more further discussions. So, BE PERFECT!! Note : I did read a lot of reviews mentioning that, study "testing", "java" etc . B**sh*t Its all depends on the knowledge of the interviewer and ur job role, either its developer or tester. HR ROUND: Its just a formality round. Nothing were asked in this round.
