Interview
Unprofessional and Disorganized Hiring Process
I was contacted by an HR manager directly, I'm happy with my current job but decided to explore the option, and we had a call with an HR person. It was disappointing.
- They never provided me with any details about the position or the company, either in their initial message or during our call.
- The call felt rushed and awkward, making it difficult for me to ask any questions. They just asked me questions that were already clearly answered by the CV I'd provided. No clarifying questions, nothing, just my one-sided answers.
- At the end, I was told my CV would be passed to the hiring manager. Instead, I received an email stating I needed to apply through their website because "it’s their process." Why contact people directly if they want them to go through standard channels?
At that point, I just laughed, honestly. The entire process was a mess. Thank god I wasn't in search of a job.
