Its basically a skills interview to make sure the candidate possseses the adequate level of technology expertise necessary for the position. Expect to be grilled in detail regarding your previous experience and the technologies you have worked on.

It was an interview for job in Amdocs. The technical interview was okay but as far as the HR round was concerned the lady had no idea about technical details and when i was explaining about my technical achievements she said something which she had no idea about and it got me really frustrated and it was no longer about the job, I said something in frustration and left the interview right away.

The entire process took several months. I was called for severall interviews - one technical and others more HR related. During the process I was told that the job definitions are being shifted around - which made it a moving target.
