I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon in Oct 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter for the position on LinkedIn. I'm a recent graduate and so I applied for the "Entry Level Sr. Human Resources assistant" position. I did not have a phone screen. When I applied for the position I was contacted a week or so after and I did a survey and then I chose my interview time slot. The interview consisted of 1 prebrief with the recruiter and then 2 interviews with two different people from Amazon HR. For the first interview they mostly focus on STAR format questions. Now I admit I'm not the best at star method, but as long as you remember to emphasize the results from your actions you should be good. Also remember to try and connect with your interviewer. In the beginning they ask you to tell them about yourself. Personally I chose to talk about not only the school I attended but also one of my hobbies. I feel like being able to connect helps a lot. For the second interview it was a case study. It isn't too difficult at all. Just make sure you understand the question and if you don't then ASK QUESTIONS. It is better to ask questions then to be stuck. But again I assure you the case study isn't hard at all (involves ethics). After the case study there are just some follow up questions and then you answer questions about how you fit the amazon leadership qualities. It is really not too difficult. I received an email saying I was selected the day after I interviewed even though they said it should take up to 5 days. Good luck y'all! If I can do it then you can too.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you used a creative solution to solve a problem?
The interviewer did not show up for the phone interview. She emailed the next day with no apology. This was a negative first impression, so I did not continue further.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Hebron, KY) in Jan 2020
Interview
Application, Interview with three people. Someone in the role, an Area Manager and another Manager from another dept. They usually interview you remotely and I didn't get any help from my current AM in providing a quiet place or a laptop.
