I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Amazon had a very drawn out interview process. I worked with a recruiter for a few months, was interviewed on the phone twice, and then brought in for a full day of interviews within the office here in San Francisco. Very helpful, nice people, though I had a little trouble with the protracted schedule at times. The entire process was painless though.
