Amazon Senior Vendor Manager interview questions

Zero interaction with recruiter, no interview coaching. The job I interviewed for was not even one I applied for. I have a lot of experience with colleagues working at Amazon. Despite my experience, my answers did not fit into the robotic responses they are looking for. The hiring manager said at the beginning of my interview "don't worry, we aren't trying to trick you". As a former bar raiser told me, they absolutely are trying to trick you. My advice would be to stick to the script, do not deviate.

they asked almost the same questions during the interview. it feels like there is a playbook and they are not flexible to change the questions, even you already answered the question. it was weird.
