I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2022
Interview
Longest and most time consuming interview process of my life! 9 interviews in total. I felt extremely discriminated against for being a straight white male. The moment certain ethnic women saw me they were just horrible with their questioning and very stand-offish with their attitudes. I received outstanding feedback from every interviewer accept these 2 particular ethnic women, one of which was the hiring manager. In the end she literally lied saying I didn't have the "technical" expertise which if you saw my work history you would instantly know that is a complete farce. On the Brightside shortly after that is when they laid off 10,000 corporate tech jobs and two friends of mine that were product managers there for quite some time got laid off with no severance or benefits; so that very well could've been me.
