I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2021
Interview
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn for resume. Asked me to apply to a specific job. Scheduled interviews. 4 people on 1 day from 9am-1pm. A 10 min break between each interview. Sent me the offer 2 days later but the salary was very low.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Portland, OR) in Apr 2021
Interview
There were a total of two phone interviews, conducted by two different people within the company. The interviews utilized STAR behavioral methods. I would consider it a very positive and professional process.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2021
Interview
Hiring manager was late to the virtual interview by maybe 5 minutes. Began asking robotic questions from a script--no personal greeting, connection about health/safety during pandemic. After the second question, I could already tell he was already done with the interview. The job was going to require relocation and he didn't ask anything about relocation or anything else related to the job. He was focused on only asking the questions from his list and checking to see if I were answering in a STAR format. The whole experience was one of the worst interviews I have ever experienced. I have been in a hiring position and never would I treat candidates the way this guy did. After I got off the phone, I knew I was not going to move forward or have any interest in working for this manager.
