The interviewer asked questions that didn’t relate to my experience. It didn’t make sense because my interviewer saw my cv and intentionally asked things that didn’t relate to it. I wish it could be better sha.
I recently had a 45-minute phone interview for a Security Engineer role at Amazon, but unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the next round. The interview was quite technical and covered topics like encryption, cloud security best practices, and AWS-specific services. I was asked to walk through how I’d secure a cloud-based web application and respond to security incidents. There were also questions about handling data breaches and the principles behind securing APIs. Despite preparing extensively, I stumbled a bit on a scenario-based question about threat modeling, which may have contributed to my rejection.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA)

The process comprised of mainly, 1 OA, 2 Technical rounds and 1 HR round. For the first technical round, it was a knowledge check on the projects and resume, and what I've been upto in school. In the other one, it was a bit more code intensive.
