I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Worked with the hiring manager directly for a technical assessment then followed by a panel interview over Chime. Straight-forward in theory except the poor organization on the coordination side.
The panel was pushed back a few times because there weren't enough people for the interview to assess me or backed out last minute. In addition, my recruiter was incredibly slow to respond - on average a week or more. Not only did I not know what was happening post-interviews, but I couldn't get a timely answer until I got fed up and told them to withdraw my candidacy.
Need to know if you got an offer? You'll wait.
Tell them you withdraw? You get a response within 10 minutes.
Don't waste your time - plenty of other companies pay well, don't have a poor reputation, and offer a much better experience overall.

Interview
Recruiter was extremely friendly and helpful. The Interview itself was mostly technical questions relating to security and technical experience (OWASP Top 10, Risk vs Vulnerability vs Threat, etc.) Almost felt like a verbal final exam so be prepared.
Deep down technical interview in screening round which was telephonic. It was so tough and they asked about irrelevant questions than my experience. Overall the interviewer was too good
