I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Loop with 5 separate interviewers, plus a very low key lunch interview. Questions were all based on the company's leadership values. Some interviewers let you know which value they are interviewing for, others leave it up to you. Interviewers largely went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Luxemburgo) in Jul 2014
Interview
After I applied, I got a phone call from HR recruiter for my first interview. I had my first phone interview with HR which took 45 min, they asked me my prior experiences and projects and also my salary expectations.
Second interview was with the manager, it also took like 50 min/1 hour. Again, they asked my projects, challenges and risks I took.
Last interview was in Luxembourg, I was invited to Luxembourg and had series of interviews with HR and 3 different managers, in total 4 interviews in a row.
2 days after this interview, they told me that I will get an offer and 1 week after I received the offer.

Question 1
Have you ever find a simple solution for a complex problem?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2016
Interview
This has been my second interview experience with Amazon and it was the same unorganized process. I was initially contacted by an Amazon recruiter about a job. She had requested my availability to set up a phone interview if I was interested. I didn't hear back from the recruiter for over a month, despite sending a couple of follow up emails. When I stopped following up, the recruited then reached out to me requesting my updated availability to finally set up the phone interview.
Finally had the phone interview withe hiring manager. The questions were very general behavioral ones, each aligned with one of the Amazon principles.
What I didn't like about this experience is how the recruiting process is handled. If a recruiter contacts you directly about a role and then ghosts, it doesn't leave a very good impression of the company as a whole to potential candidates.
