Interview questions [1]
Question 1
After completing a project what will you keep in mind when handing it over? After you have moved on to the next project, if you are contacted by the current owner of your old project and you are extremely busy with your new project, will you help the current owner with the old project or not?
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Oct 2020
Interview
Interviewer was condescending and I could tell a few minutes in to the interview she was not interested in me. Which was fine because the role turned out to not be a good fit. You'd just think a company like Amazon would want to protect their brand a bit more.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Oct 2020
Interview
1. An hour-long work simulation, which required answering multiple choice questions on how I would handle specific situations, based on reading a series of mock emails and chat messages
2. An hour-long phone interview with a team member
3. An hour-long phone interview with the manager
After these three rounds, I was informed I would not be moving forward in the process, and that because of "Amazon policy" they could offer no specific feedback, which is a frustrating and unfair policy considering the amount of time spent to prepare and go through the process to this point.
