I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2021
Interview
I met with a recruiter during the initial screening call. It lasted about 30 minutes. During this time I was asked about myself and to give a overview of my career experience. I was asked a few behavioral process and then given the next steps for the actual interview process.
I would suggest to ask lots of questions about the role.

The interview process is extensive with several rounds, and the final round is a full day series of interviews. They have a very prescribed interview process and look for very specific qualities. Be prepared with LOTS of examples that demonstrate that you have the qualities that align with their values.

Research the company's values. That will be the guide to the interview questions.
Conference call with two current Program Managers. Lots of behavioral questions and questions related to Amazon leadership principals. One interviewer was kind, one was grouchy, impatient and disinterested. Overall, it was a negative experience.
