I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2021
Interview
Was contacted by an Amazon recruiter (end of Feb) and told to apply for this role (not directly inline with my experience but I thought why not!). It took c.1 month to speak with the job recruiter (spoke end of March) who gave me limited information about the role and asked 2 behavioural questions. With quite a lot of back and fourth I met with the Hiring Manager (end of April) who asked me 3 questions and then was auto-rejected today. Totally fair if I am not the best candidate but I only answered two behavioural questions and spoke about my previous experience. Really disappointed as I thought Amazon was known for a speedy interview process. Also was annoying that the internal recruiter could not direct me to any other roles that I was better suited for. Overall broken process.
