For me it involved writing a 6-page (max) persuasive letter to a fictional CIO & CFO on why they should use AWS. I was provided a synopsis of the fictional company, their concerns, their personalities, etc,, and was given a week to write that letter. IF you pass that hurdle, then... 4) A one-day interview blitz with six people, one-on-one, in succession.

They reached out to me. I had a phone screen with the hiring manager. She was hostile from the beginning. When I asked about her thinking with regard to work/life balance, she ended the call. Totally turned me off on this company. Mean people suck.
