I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Interview process is almost completely behavioral. I would have 2-3 stories for each LP. You can talk to the recruiter about which LPs will not be included. Usually, frugality, strive to be the best employer, etc for L5 and L6 positions. Look for an article by Dan Anderson - it is extremely helpful.

The Amazon interview process typically involves an online application, followed by a recruiter screen to discuss your resume and qualifications. Depending on the position, you may undergo online assessments, technical phone or video interviews, and potentially an on-site interview with multiple team members covering technical and behavioral aspects. A distinctive feature is the "bar raiser" interview, where an experienced evaluator ensures candidates meet Amazon's high standards. Reference checks are conducted post-interviews, and successful candidates receive job offers, with room for negotiation. It's essential to be familiar with Amazon's leadership principles, as they play a significant role in the evaluation process. Keep in mind that the specific details of the interview process may vary based on the role and team. For the latest and most accurate information, it's advisable to refer to Amazon's official career resources.
