I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
A multiple stage process. First phone screen followed by online numerical reasoning test (difficult) and then another phone interview with Senior Ops Manager. After 2 weeks I was invited for panel interview at Fulfilment center (4 people) and then one more phone conversation with one of high European Managers. Except online test I rather say that the interview questions were easy - a;; about Amazon Leadership principles...

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Milwaukee, WI) in Oct 2015
Interview
Flew to Midwest city, they covered all expenses and provided rental car. Interviewed next day and flew back same day. It was a good experience. When they interview you there are 2 people in the room and 1 is acting extremely nice and the other 1 is acting put off. They do this on purpose to see how you react to different people.

Two phone screens both an hour long. Then 5 hours of back to back interviews on site in Dublin. By the time the 5th hour was underway I was getting so much deja vu on the questions I couldn't tell if i'd already given that example before or not.
