I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2019
Interview
Generally a full day of whiteboard interviews. All had a strange undertone in which the interviewers continually 'neg' you in an attempt to... get a rise out of you? Make you feel like you're lucky to be there? It was very strange. Maybe this works on college grads.

Interview
3 algorithm and data structures questions strongly based on leetcode. 1 soft skills, 1 system design. HR representive was super healpful at each stage of the process. I was able to negotiate the offer. Relocation package is 9300$ and it's the same in all countries, even when you leave in "cheaper" countries.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Bozeman, MT) in Jan 2021
Interview
I had an initial call with a recruiter to describe the team and learn about me. From there, I had an hour long technical review with another developer including a coding exercise. Finally, I had a virtual "on site" (due to Covid) which consisted of 3 interviews like the previous technical interview, one interview with an end to end system design exercise, and one final interview with a lot of behavioral questions.
