I interviewed with a final round panel of 5 interviewers. They were all friendly, but the Amazon interview format is a bit ridiculous. They want you to have tens of examples of very specific scenarios that weren't always applicable. I don't think this process identifies top talent, rather people who can talk for hours about odd examples.
Mostly behavioral with questions on background and leadership experiences. Dig in on past performance and actions of your previous success. Drive towards experience in teams and leadership also want to know accomplishments and interest.
The interview process was straightforward. Back-to-back super day after you pass the assessment. Recruiters were generally not very communicative, though. Make sure you know the Amazon principles. Interviewers were nice and followed an interview script
