I applied for SDE1 on the Amazon job portal. After few days, I got an exam link from Amazon. In the exam, there were 2 coding questions(DP, Greedy) and 2 descriptive questions in which we have to explain how we approached the above 2 questions and write about their time and space complexities. The interviewer was friendly and the overall experience was great.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Debugging questions: Very very easy, you don’t need to prepare for this
Coding questions: There was a total of 3 questions, 1 easy and 2 medium-level questions. I don’t remember the questions.
Work style assessments: It’s basically an MCQ to assess your behavior and your attitude
Aptitude questions: Prepare from GeeksForGeeks
First round was DSA + Resume. DSA question was based on Trees. Second round was DSA round and was based on arrays and Trees. Third round was a Bar-Raiser round.
Very straightforward questions, nothing too difficult. Half the interview was behavioral questions, while half was coding questions. They are looking for answers that involve their leadership principles, so make sure to review them.
