The interview process consisted of the following stages: Initial Recruiter Screen – A 30-minute conversation to discuss my background, interest in the role, and high-level alignment with the team’s goals. Technical Assessment – A timed SQL and data manipulation exercise conducted via HackerRank. The focus was on writing efficient queries, joining multiple datasets, and deriving insights from raw data. Case Study / Take-Home Assignment – I was asked to analyze a dataset and produce a short report or dashboard with key insights, demonstrating my skills in SQL, data visualization, and storytelling. Final Round Interviews – This included: A technical deep dive with a current BIE, focusing on SQL, data modeling, and business logic. A case review session to walk through my take-home assignment and explain my approach. A cross-functional panel interview assessing communication skills, stakeholder management, and experience collaborating with product, engineering, or marketing teams.

Interview focused on analytical thinking and case studies. Main focus was on the leadership principles. First interview was a phone interview that covered a few basic questions and SQL coding. The loop had 4 rounds.
