I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
In February, I had two rounds of interviews where I got to solve challenging problems and engage in technical discussions:
🔹 Round 1 – Data Structures & Algorithms: Min-Heap, Generate All Valid Parentheses, followed by a Leadership Principle (LP) discussion.
🔹 Round 2 – A mix of Operating Systems, Networking, and DSA, including Spiral Matrix traversal and Implementing Queue using Stacks.
Despite giving my best, I received a rejection email on March 10th. While the outcome was not what I had hoped for, I see this experience as a huge learning opportunity. The process pushed me to improve my problem-solving skills, dive deeper into core CS concepts, and gain firsthand experience of Amazon’s interview structure.
I received an Online Assessment (OA) invitation from Amazon. The assessment consisted of two coding questions of medium to hard difficulty, focusing on data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. The questions required efficient solutions with optimized time and space complexity. After the OA, shortlisted candidates typically proceed to one or more technical interview rounds covering coding, system design, and behavioral questions based on Amazon's Leadership Principles.
Applied online via career site, received OA link within 2 days and cleared it, Round 1- DSA, Round-2 DSA, Round 3- System Design, Round 4- Mixed Technical Discussion and Behavioral.
