I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2021
Interview
I applied on LinkedIn - I received an email from the recruiter with a set of questions (salary expectations, some small details about past experience, etc) after I sent that she sent to team who decided to move forward.
1st interview was with a Technical Program Manager: 1 hour of behavioral questions related to past projects asked in the STAR format and references their Leadership Principles.
Got an email that I was moving forward in the process and was sent a writing assignment. You pick from two topics and I wrote a 2 page essay based on my topic.
2nd Interview was the Loop Interview (on Chime because of pandemic) where I had five 1 hour interviews with various team members, hiring manager, and bar raiser. Each interviewer asked about 3-4 behavioral questions based on the 14 leadership principles and would dig deep and ask a lot of follow up questions with each answer I gave. Very smooth process but you will be very tired at the end of the day.
After a week I got a call for the offer.

Question 1
Behavioral battery all based on their 14 Leadership Principles, have your stories ready for each Leadership Principle. I had around 3-4 for each principle. Interview Genie has a great guide on interviewing for Amazon. The recruiter will send you some great materials as well. I prepped for a week prior to my loop interview.

Interview
The process took a very long time and after 4 rounds of interviwes I got only an auto rejection email. The company check only the Leadership principles, and it looks like they don't have an interest in smth else. Anyway people were nice, the case study was interesting as well.
