I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2018
Interview
The process was pretty structured with some 2-3 days gaps in between the phases: phone interview with recruiter, 2 phone interviews with hiring manager and his peer, on-site interview in Seattle with 5 people.
Overall pretty good experience. Make sure you apply for the right position based on your experience. For example, if you have 10-15 years in finance and also you were managing the team for at least 3+ years out of those 10-15, you will need to apply for Senior Finance Manager at a minimum, not Finance manager role, otherwise you will feel like you're downgrading yourself in your career.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of questions on Amazon principles, some of them were worded differently but were repeating... for example...the most common question was " Tell me about the situation when you had to solve some difficult task and were under strict deadline" or " Tell me about the situation when you received a negative feedback" etc. Behavioral questions.
Moves very fast and the recruiter/panel is quick to respond. No new questions, everything from LPs. They also want to know about an AI project and a few financial models you built
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (São Paulo, )
