Amazon Gerente interview questions

1 round of telephonic interview followed by 6 face to face interview rounds Format is standard with focus on past professional experiences which you can link to Amazon's leadership principles. The hiring is designed such that interviewer evaluates you positively to be a fit rather than trying to find reasons for rejecting you. The interviewer keeps taking notes throughout the time you're sharing your example which initially will feel a bit discomforting but as the process goes on you kind of feel art ease with that. The sequence of interviews are exhausting so make sure to keep yourself hydrated and we'll fed so add to keep energy levels consistent. All in all an enriching process which really pushes you to reflect on the work you've done in the past

All were telephonic rounds. HR did the first level screening - Good friendly conversation. A Senior Manager did the 2nd round of interview - Did not allow me to answer the question 'walk me through your resume'. Later was questioning my experience. Very unprofessional behaviour. This was an army guy with very very few years in the corporate work space. Seemed to be very unsure of what he is looking for and was doubting my years of work experience. Did not expect this from Amazon. How can they hire good people if they have these kind of managers who themselves don't know what they want. Another Senior Manager from the US did the 3rd round - The manager from 2nd round had given her the background and it appeared that she was also approaching the interview with the same prejudice. What I have heard from other Amazon employees that in India they recruit people with not much experience in low payscale. This is just the tip of the ice berg. I think Amazon may eventually end up paying a heavy price for poor human resource management!! Hope they realize this and act accordingly.
