I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter via email, had one phone interview with a manager, and 6 hour in person POD style interview. Entirely behavioral based questions (tell me about a time...), STAR interview method.
The recruiter did a great job of prepping me before hand. Don't stress too much over getting the right answers on the Excel test, they are just checking to make sure you have the basic logic down.
Be prepared with examples, it was very fast paced interview section. Have questions prepared in advance, don't be caught off guard like you weren't prepared. Even with being prepared we still ran over time in most of my sessions. I decided to pass due to the amount of travel required and constant relocation the only real option of advancement.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Jun 2019
Interview
First was the candidate form filling and then followed by written test which consisted of verbal testing, quantitative analysis and then a descriptive mail and later after submission of the test I was asked to wait for the confirmation call
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Very badly organized. Was reached at by different recruiters at Amazon and interviewed for different positions because the first one was filled before my on-site. After three phones I flew to Seattle and met the Hiring Manager and others. The travel was reimbursed though. Hiring manager was very very bad I really want to trash him but I can't use those words here. Just stay away. Behavior questions and case questions. They also challenged my projects at my current work. What the h do you know about my job?!
