Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Have you had a disagreement with a supervisor or boss? How did you ultimately agree to disagree and commit to their point of view
I was contacted by one of their HR people, as I'd previously applied for a role there, that I'd got a telephone interview for a different role. It was a 35 minute telephone interview with the hiring manager. It seemed more of them trying to sell the role to you, there was only a few "how would you deal with.." situations. There was a technical question but it wasn't particularly tricky.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter after the hiring manager found me on LinkedIn. Phone interviews were set up with the recruiter, then hiring manager and then the hiring manager's manager, due to my location. It would have been a cross-country relocation. The interviews were scheduled within 2 week, but it wasn't after another 2 weeks that they ultimately decided not to move forward--i.e. fly me in for an in-person interview. All questions were behavioral with nothing out of the ordinary nor technical were asked.
