I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
The interview process is long, but there are lots of thoughtful questions, and it really helps both the hiring team and the interviewee get a good feel for if they're a good fit.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Sep 2021
Interview
The interview process was very clear from the beginning. After less than a week from sending my CV I received an email from the recruiter who asked for a first phone screening. The recruiter is your best friend in the process. Mine was very nice, since the beginning she explained to me the steps, the process, the possible duration (it lasted 2 months from sending my resume to receiving the offer) and what to expect in any possible way - she was also very open to all my questions.
My personal experience was very pleasant, although stressful as I prepared almost obsessively for all 2 months since I wanted the job so bad.
Everyone was very responsive via email and always available. Recruiters and interviewers were up at sunrise to make it possible despite the time difference.

Interview
The interviewer was new to the HR aspect and was being shadowed- her nerves translated into the interview- and it was overly formal. She continued to ask the shadower if there was any additional insight she had or if she had any questions after each question I answered. It was increasingly awkward because she said no everytime.
