Amazon Area Manager interview questions

The initial phone screen questions were mostly behavioral based - Describe a time when you... and focused more on my team building examples. The initial phone interview was pretty straight forward and I was referred on to the next step in the process (on site interview at one of their fulfillment centers with other candidates) however, there are no scheduled interview events scheduled for the next 2 months. I don't understand how they advertise open positions and then not have a timeline to hire the candidates. I will have to keep applying to other positions while I wait for months for the next step in the process.

First online tests, then two phone interviews and then 4 interviews at the offer Fulfillment Center. The questions are the described in other posts, but without any numerical questions, is just another STAR panel interview. The interviewers some times seem unexperienced and sleepy, some may play a role in order to make you feel nervous, uncomfortable, etc With a proper preparation at home the interview process should be smooth, don't worry too much about the result, at the end is just a process. At the end during the visit to the center, a former Area Manager said that the position is not the most desirable, and that they try to move fast towards Operations Manager position, but I think depends on the likeliness of each person to the role.
