I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Aug 2020
Interview
This was an on-campus opportunity. There was no test. Candidates were shortlisted on the basis of their resume. There were 2 rounds. For me first was DSA round and the second was on my projects and general knowledge of ML.

Question 1
You have to print powerset of a string. (Available on GeeksForGeeks). This was the main question of interview.
Questions on my project of speech emotion recognition. The interviewer was mostly interested in how i would scale this model for real world application.
I was emailed by a recruiter and had two video conference interviews with people in the team that are interested 2 weeks later. After that I was informed by the recruiter that the result would be announced in approx. 5 days then she completely disappeared. Terrible experience.
I just want to say: Hey, I don't care how big your company is, but ghosting is rude. I treat you with all respect and I expect you to do the same.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Some basic machine learning questions, a coding interview and a couple behavioural questions.
First a phone interview asking about ML breadth. Followed up with a virtual onsite. The virtual onsite is very overwhelming. I would say I don't enjoy the virtual experience compared to actual onsite. Overall it is good, but one of the interviewer apparently doesn't like his job and keeps complaining, which isn't a good sign

Lots of behavioral questions, e.g. how do you resolve a conflict?
