Interview
First technical screening call. Even though I was told to read Amazon leadership principles beforehand, the call did not include any sort of behavioral questions. All questions were technical: basic stats and general machine learning knowledge

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
My resume got picked up when I applied online for a different role (Research Science Intern) but the interviews got setup for this role (which is definitely a more appropriate role for me). There are two interviews scheduled for an hour each. One of them was supposed to cover Coding and problem solving and the other one would cover ML/DL knowledge. However, both the interviews spent majority of their time on my research with some challenge questions (general math, signal processing etc.) and coding problems at the end (which are easy). Both the interviewers were looking for someone with an interdisciplinary background.
