Amazon Applied Scientist interview questions

My resume got picked up when I applied online for a different role (Research Science Intern) but the interviews got setup for this role (which is definitely a more appropriate role for me). There are two interviews scheduled for an hour each. One of them was supposed to cover Coding and problem solving and the other one would cover ML/DL knowledge. However, both the interviews spent majority of their time on my research with some challenge questions (general math, signal processing etc.) and coding problems at the end (which are easy). Both the interviewers were looking for someone with an interdisciplinary background.

The first round of interview is resume check. Then the recruiter reached out and scheduled two interviews, one-hour for each. After that, in about a week, a decision was made.
