I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
Contacted by the recruiter about a month after I submitted the application. and put in an interview with two of their employees, it seem a bit mismatch in the interview the interviewer does not seems know my research area so become difficult to communicate.

Question 1
They asked the my research and asked to solve a clustering problem.
There is only 1 interviewer in the first phone screen round. Mostly Question Answer type Machine Learning questions and one coding question. ML questions can be answered by brushing up on some coursework

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon in May 2022
Interview
Screener interview. Recruiter contacted me to discuss a position via LinkedIn. Scheduled interview, which takes place on Amazon Chime (a teleconferencing app). Chime was terrible and there was so much feedback of my own voice on the interviewer's end it was hard to focus on the questions she asked. Additionally, I was being recruited for a position that required a master's degree, even though I did not have one. To suggest that not having a master's degree is a disqualifying attribute (and preferable over 10+ years of industry experience building data science and ML products) seems a bit ridiculous. At the end of discussion, interviewer suggested that I apply to a business analyst position, which I declined to do (and was kind of insulting).
