An acquaintance of mine introduced me to a friend that worked at Amazon and his group opened up a couple of developer positions. I sent in my resume and had a chat about my previous experience developing software and web applications. Then they scheduled me for an interview that lasted about one hour and involved basic level technical questions. After that, they scheduled me for a second, more technical interview.

Had a phone interview with Amazon late last week, basically a technical phone interview: coding questions and data structure. The interviewer was nice and talkative. Got a call and an email from Amazon HR about the second interview after two days. The second phone interview is coming up this week. Hope it will go smooth ^-^.
