I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Allstate (Houston, TX) in Apr 2016
Interview
Brief interview, they just want to know your personality and how well you speak. The interviews are simple and strait forward. You are applying for sales so you let your sales record speak for you.
I am working with a small agency office and have known the agent my whole life so mine is a little different. He pretty much knew my ability to sell and only had to train me on the products.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Lincolnshire, IL) in May 2016
Interview
Was pleasant low key, asked availability and experience. The agent appeared as if the right person to work for, unfortunately that is not the case. You will be asked about your previous employers and your experiences and of course why you're leaving. The agent will also, discuss salary and ask if you ever worked on a draw.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can I work 1 Saturday per month, not every Saturday, are you hard working, be on time, Have you ever worked on commission only or on a draw salary. This is the key words to look for, unfortunately I didn't notice that was the red flags.
