I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Allstate (Buffalo, NY)
Interview
In order to get and interview you have to pass a JEPS test which is an aptitude test. After passing the test, I was then interviewed and then called back for a second interview.

Question 1
If you were investigating a dog bite, what kinds of questions would you ask?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Allstate in Apr 2012
Interview
Had a simple phone interview and got a call about 2 weeks later telling me that I would be receiving an email with a link to a skills test. I completed the test after I got the call and was sent an email 20 minutes later telling me that I had passed and that a recruiter would be in touch in a few days to schedule a 1:1 interview. After a week with no information, I followed-up and was told to call back later. After repeatedly phoning the call center, I was finally called back and told that I would have to be more proactive if I wanted the job. Needless to say, I choose a different path.

Question 1
Very basic. "Why Allstate?" "Tell me about yourself."
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Allstate (Chubbuck, ID) in Apr 2012
Interview
The process began with emails requesting a phone interview.and permission to do a background check. From the questions asked, I thought that the job would be a lot more people friendly than it actually turned out to be. Instead of an agent that can help people, we were treated like we were robots and encouraged to let people yell and demean us.
