I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Lincolnshire, IL) in May 2016
Interview
Was pleasant low key, asked availability and experience. The agent appeared as if the right person to work for, unfortunately that is not the case. You will be asked about your previous employers and your experiences and of course why you're leaving. The agent will also, discuss salary and ask if you ever worked on a draw.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can I work 1 Saturday per month, not every Saturday, are you hard working, be on time, Have you ever worked on commission only or on a draw salary. This is the key words to look for, unfortunately I didn't notice that was the red flags.

Interview
Very quick. Got hired within 2 weeks. Basic ybackground check. It was very simple and no drug screen test was done. Not a lot of questions at all. The lady called me back immediately. I also took licensing exams to become certified.

Allstate automated system is ridiculous. They clearly use a robo system. You can't possibly review a cover letter, completed application and resume with any amount of care in less than 10 minutes.
