Contacted by recruiter, one interview with hiring manager, background check took more than twice as long as it should have. Hard to get a response from the recruiter for follow up.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied online and received and invite for a phone interview within 2 days. It was set up for the next week.
I spoke with a real person and she asked your basic interview questions. Be familiar with the STAR format. They like stories and to hear about results!
The next day I received an email stating I'm moving forward to a face to face interview. They called and it was set up for two weeks out. It was probably the longest but most thorough interview I've been in. The first part was typical, asking about myself and related work experience. Then they moved on the thr Allstate STAR questions. Come prepared with a few answers/stories to common questions.
I was interviewed by two men and they were very professional and engaging. Great interview!
