I applied online. I interviewed at Allstate (New York, NY) in Oct 2020
Interview
First of all, the job I applied for was not the job the interview was held for. I did not find out until I sat down for the interview. The interviews were held in groups of 3-4 and were extremely unprofessional. The 3 interviewers were more interested in making jokes and trying to be "cool" than discussing the position. There were no regard for COVID-19 safety at all. Nobody was wearing a mask and told us to take ours off, if we wanted. When salary was mentioned all we were told is that we "could pay for gas" with our salary and commission was the rest. All in all it was a bad experience and completely turned me off from the job and company altogether.
This was for the North Babylon, NY location.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Allstate (Pune) in Jan 2020
Interview
it's take almost 24 hrs just to complete one round apart from that voice and accent interviewer was pathetic and can't speak english with proper grammar. she have a mother tongue influence
The process overall took about a month. At first you will do a over the phone interview. If you pass that it takes about 2/3 days after for them to tell you you’ve moved to the second interview. Which is a one on one interview with a selection leader. The questions are based around the topics in the job description. For example, customer focus, business acumen etc
